At FRIUSA, we work hard to the quality, safety, legality and authenticity of the products we produce, in compliance with legislation and our customers needs.
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points is the safety system we have implemented to achieve these objectives. We follow best practices for handling food and establish working procedures for all processes where it is particularly important to minimise meat contamination.
Self-regulation programmes are implemented in an effective manner and are reviewed and updated on a continual basis.
FRIUSA was awarded the Bienestar Animal Welfair ™ certification by IRTA and NEIKER, based on the European Welfare Quality and AWIN ® benchmarks and following the IRTA and Neiken protocols.
After FRIUSA adapted to the requirements of the (EC) 1099/2009 Council Regulation, on the protection of animals when being slaughtered, we obtained the Bienestar Animal Welfair ™ certification for the slaughter and butchering of beef, and the butchering of pork.
This allows FRIUSA to guarantee a high level of animal welfare in its facilities and offers our customers peace of mind, knowing that we are more and more committed to animal welfare.

We work constantly to ensure wastewater is correctly treated and meets quality parameters to comply with the most demanding thresholds of current legislation.
We manage wastewater separately and treat it appropriately so it can be disposed of correctly. Proper waste management reduces the impact of our activity.
The natural resources and other materials used by our company are treated responsibly and we minimise the waste generated by our production processes.
